2024 SHOWCASE IN REVIEW

The 6th Annual FREE BASKETBALL SHOWCASE in Twinsburg OH was built off of a labor of love from ALL the volunteers that make the now I. C. Change Basketball Showcase so unique, which took place on Saturday, June 15th, in Twinsburg Ohio at the Twinsburg Recreational Center. The Showcase featured 64 young men from all over the United States with a large number this year from Ohio and even a participant from Canada. The day started with a quick introduction by founder and creator Ian Cunningham, followed by 50 minutes of skills training from top trainers Rollie Smith and Tom Parker of Pushthru Athletics.

The Fellowship of Christian Officials Referees used this Free Basketball Showcase as a training program. DJ Vell got the players hyped as 8 teams played 3 games of 44-minute with a fantastic challenge again this year, the 2-man shooting challenge. During the break-in action, teams spoke with Noel Roman and Ian Cunningham while we had close to 20 college and prep school coaches in attendance, and many watching online for some of the highest level of basketball as they were recruiting for their respected colleges and universities.

This year former NBA player and motivational speaker Smush Parker spoke to the participants.

The I.C.Change Basketball Showcase wants to send a special thank you to the following people for donating and making the FREE BASKETBALL SHOWCASE stay free for all the participants. John Travis and family, Bob and Kris Linton, Steve and Therese Squeri and Derell Hardwick. We can’t thank everyone enough.
